Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Vision Widget mobile app (the "App") for Android and iOS. The App is provided by visionov ("we," "us," or "our"), a business registered in the Republic of Korea.

By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you have under the mandatory consumer protection laws of the country where you live.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age required in your country to use apps like this one without parental consent, to use the App. If you are under 18 or the age of majority where you live, you may use the App only with the involvement of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to these Terms.

2. License to Use the App

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and use the App on devices you own or control, for your personal, non-commercial use, in accordance with these Terms and the rules of the app store you downloaded it from.

We may add, change, or remove features of the App, including the features and limits of the free version, at any time.

3. Vision+ Subscriptions

Some features are available only with a paid Vision+ subscription. Subscriptions are offered on a monthly or annual basis.

  • Billing: Subscriptions are purchased and billed through Google Play or the Apple App Store, using the payment method linked to your store account. Prices are shown in the App before you purchase, and may include taxes depending on your location.
  • Auto-renewal: Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends.
  • Cancellation: You can cancel at any time in your Google Play or Apple account settings. Deleting the App does not cancel your subscription. After cancellation, you keep Vision+ access until the end of the current billing period.
  • Refunds: Because payments are processed by Google or Apple, refund requests are handled under their refund policies. We cannot issue refunds directly.
  • Free trials: If we offer a free trial, it converts to a paid subscription at the end of the trial unless you cancel before it ends.
  • Price changes: We may change subscription prices. You will be notified in advance through the app store, and changes apply from your next billing period, as required by the store's rules.
  • Restoring purchases: You can restore an active subscription on a new device signed in to the same store account.

Consumers in the EU, EEA, and UK: You normally have a 14-day right to withdraw from a digital purchase. When you start your subscription, you request immediate access to digital content and acknowledge that you lose this right once access begins, to the extent permitted by law. This does not affect any refund rights you have under the policies of Google or Apple.

4. Your Content

The visions, goals, tasks, milestones, and other content you create in the App ("Your Content") belong to you. Your Content is stored only on your device. We do not receive, access, or host it.

The App does not back up Your Content to a server or to device backups. If you delete the App, lose your device, or reset it, Your Content will be permanently lost, and we cannot recover it.

5. Our Content and Intellectual Property

The App and its content, including its design, code, widget designs, graphics, and Daily Wisdom texts, are owned by visionov or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not give you any ownership rights in the App.

  • Daily Wisdom: Daily Wisdom texts are original content provided for inspiration and personal reflection only. They are not professional, medical, financial, or legal advice.
  • Fonts: The App includes fonts licensed under the SIL Open Font License 1.1. Those fonts remain subject to that license, and the license notices are included in the App.
  • Feedback: If you send us suggestions or feedback, we may use them without any obligation to you.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Copy, modify, distribute, sell, or rent the App or any part of it
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App, except where applicable law expressly permits it
  • Bypass or interfere with the App's subscription, licensing, or security features
  • Extract and redistribute the App's content, including Daily Wisdom texts and widget designs
  • Use the App for any unlawful purpose

7. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

The App is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or compatible with every device or launcher.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, visionov will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, including Your Content. Our total liability for any claim relating to the App will not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the 12 months before the claim arose.

Some countries do not allow these exclusions or limitations. Where that is the case, they apply only to the extent permitted, and nothing in these Terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for any other liability that cannot be limited by law.

8. App Store Terms

Your use of the App must also comply with the terms of the app store you downloaded it from. If these Terms conflict with those store terms, the store terms apply to that conflict.

If you downloaded the App from the Apple App Store, you and we acknowledge that:

  • These Terms are between you and visionov only, not Apple. visionov, not Apple, is solely responsible for the App and its content.
  • Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the App.
  • If the App fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price, if any. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation regarding the App.
  • visionov, not Apple, is responsible for addressing any claims relating to the App, including product liability claims, claims that the App fails to meet legal or regulatory requirements, and consumer protection or privacy claims.
  • visionov, not Apple, is responsible for the investigation, defense, settlement, and discharge of any third-party claim that the App infringes intellectual property rights.
  • You represent that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo or designated as a "terrorist supporting" country, and that you are not on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
  • Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.

If you downloaded the App from Google Play, the Google Play Terms of Service also apply to your purchase and use of the App.

9. Termination

You can stop using the App at any time by deleting it. Remember to cancel your subscription separately through your app store.

If you materially breach these Terms, your license to use the App ends automatically. Sections 4, 5, 7, and 11 survive termination.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date and notify you in the App or on our website before the changes take effect. If you continue using the App after the changes take effect, you accept the updated Terms. If you do not agree, stop using the App and cancel your subscription.

11. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, without regard to its conflict of law rules. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live.

If you have a concern, please contact us first at [email protected]. We will try to resolve it informally within 30 days. If we cannot, either party may bring the dispute before the Seoul Central District Court. If you are a consumer in the EU, EEA, or UK, you may also bring proceedings in the courts of the country where you live.

12. General

  • Entire agreement: These Terms and our Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and us about the App.
  • Severability: If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest of these Terms remain in effect.
  • No waiver: Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of our right to do so later.
  • Assignment: You may not transfer your rights under these Terms. We may transfer ours as part of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
  • Language: These Terms are written in English. If we provide a translation, the English version controls to the extent permitted by law.
